Mandarin Monsters app for iPhone and iPad

Spark your child’s mind; teach them Chinese with Mandarin Monsters.

This application helps your child learn the Mandarin dialect employing words, phrases and techniques developed by pre-school educators.

The words and phrases come directly from the curriculum used by leading early education institutions around the world. Included are topics your child will relate to: animals, colors, numbers, days, months, food and more.

The application uses a progressive learning technique where the basics words are established and later expanded into full phrases as your child moves through the topics. For example, they will first learn something as simple as “I Like” and then later move on to adding another word they’ve learned to create a full sentence – “I like ice cream”.

A matching style “memory” game where they use what they’ve learned in the lessons to pick one of four correct pictures is also included. Finally, pinyin and a section on tones are included to aid in the pronunciation of each word.
